Kimba Jade is thrilled to bring her renowned Facilitator Training to the South Island! With a decade of experience as an Ecstatic Dance DJ, and having toured California and Europe performing at dances and festivals, she can’t wait to offer this unique training, infused with Alchemy to Hamner Springs.
The Alchemic Ecstatic Dance DJ Training is a 5-day immersive experience held at The Vibrant Living Retreat and Day Spa. The goal is for you to leave with the skills and confidence to facilitate and DJ your very own Ecstatic Dance or Conscious Dance events!

As Ecstatic Dance DJs, we carry the responsibility of holding space where people can fully step into their authentic selves, free from self-doubt and worries. It’s about creating an environment where they feel safe, supported, and able to leave feeling renewed and at peace with where they are in their lives.
I’m DJ Kimba Jade, an Ecstatic Dance DJ, Facilitator, and Alchemist. With a decade of experience teaching DJing and dance, I’ve also spent two years training in Energetic Arts and Alchemy. I combine Alchemy, Sentaura Multidimensional Frequency, and music as powerful tools for transformation. My journey as a facilitator has taken me through over 10 facilitator trainings across New Zealand, Australia Europe.

Each student will have the opportunity to DJ their own evening Ecstatic Dance in front of their peers, giving you a hands-on experience of what it’s truly like to lead a dance event.​

DJ Kimba Jade is a skilled DJ with over 20 years experience behind the decks. She is an Ecstatic Dance DJ with a broad range of expertise. She now leads Alchemic Dance Floor in New Zealand, runs NZ's first Ecstatic Dance Festival and has taught over 100 students how to DJ. Her true passion lies in sharing her knowledge and helping others learn the art of DJing.

What is Ecstatic Dance?
“When we dance together we celebrate Gratitude and Connection”
It is extremely important to me to keep the authenticity of Ecstatic Dance alive. This means adhering to and honoring the wave and each stage of the dance.
Ecstatic Dance is a DJed Wave Dance on a peak sound system. It starts slow & melodic, builds to an ecstatic peak and comes back down. This is therapeutic for the body, releases blockages and allows you to go through a journey and healing.

Ecstatic dance is a free form of dance in which the dancers experience freedom with no guidance from the voice, only the music. Without the need to follow specific steps, abandon themselves to the rhythm and move freely as the music takes them, leading to trance and a feeling of ecstasy.
Ecstatic Dance is all about enjoying the movement, great exercise, freeing your mind, savoring your body, and connecting with yourself and/or other dancers.
Why is Intention important?
Setting intentions is a powerful tool for manifesting your desires, and when you set an intention for your dance, it helps guide the energy and shift the atmosphere. Being aware of the frequency changes and maintaining sovereignty are key aspects of holding space.

I’m thrilled to collaborate with the incredible Kareena Heart, a renowned Sacred Shake Facilitator, to bring the transformative power of sacred shaking to our morning rituals during the training.

It’s an embodied practice combining breathwork, dance, quantum healing, and intentional shaking to release tension, promote relaxation, and enhance well-being.
